Biography

George R. Saponaro, Esquire founded his practice in Mount Holly, New Jersey in January 1998.

Mr. Saponaro presently serves as Special Counsel for the City of Trenton, and is Solicitor for the Township of Riverside, Township of Westampton, City of Burlington, and the Deptford Township Board of Library Trustees.  He has also represented Pemberton Township, Springfield, and Mansfield as their Labor Counsel, and been the Public Defender for Palmyra Borough and Mount Holly, Lumberton, and Maple Shade Townships.  Mr. Saponaro is also an approved lawyer for the New Jersey PBA Legal Protection Plan, advocating for police officers throughout New Jersey. Additionally, he represents dozens of small businesses, including various contractors, restaurants and bars, towing companies, and professional practices.

Mr. Saponaro has personally tried numerous criminal jury trials to conclusion, including aggravated sexual assaults, armed robberies, drug offenses, and homicide cases. He has tried in excess of 40 Administrative Law trials, as well as hundreds of Municipal Court trials, including Drunk Driving, Assault, Drug Offenses,Theft, Disorderly Conduct, and other serious motor vehicle related offenses.
